Exclusive waterfront apartments at Wentworth Point hit the market

A luxury apartment project destined for one of Sydney’s newest waterfront locations is offering buyers the opportunity to live their dream waterfront lifestyle.

Glade, the latest boutique release at Sanctuary in Wentworth Point, promises access to the water and all the perks that go along with it.

Glade is part of stage two at Sekisui House’s Sanctuary development.

The residential building is part of the emerging Wentworth Point community — and this newest part of the project is already catching the eye of premium buyers.

A postcode with perks

Established just over 20 years ago, Wentworth Point is a newcomer on the Sydney scene.

But despite its relative youth, it’s a neighbourhood that’s not lacking in amenities, says Angus Moore, realestate.com.au economist.

“It’s an area where there’s been a lot of development in the last five years,” Moore says. “You’ve got a lot of really good sporting amenities and public parks nearby.”

There’s a school, access to shops and it’s very well connected with bus services, plus the Rhodes and Olympic Park train stations are nearby.

Moore says the proposed Stage 2 of the Parramatta Light Rail will be a game-changer for the area, increasing accessibility to an already in-demand location.

A ferry service connects to Parramatta and Barangaroo.

Buyers have been increasingly catching on to Wentworth Point’s charms.

PropTrack data reveals property prices have risen 5.9% for units in the past 12 months to April ’22.

It’s also been an attractive location for investors, with an average yearly rental yield of 4% for units.

Waterfront living

Offering amazing views, foreshore walks and abundant greenery, it’s no surprise that Wentworth Point’s ace up its sleeve is waterfront living.

Paul Wainwright, Senior Sales and Operations Manager at Sekisui House, says Glade is provoking a lot of buzz with buyers who are looking for waterfront location, spacious floor plans and modern design.

“It’s an eight-storey waterfront building, which overlooks a community foreshore park and the Parramatta River,” Wainwright says.

“The apartments have uninterrupted north-facing water views that you’ll have forever because these will never be built out.

“We’ve designed it so that as many of the apartments as possible get that water aspect and the views.”

Glade features a two level indoor/outdoor gym facility with state-of-the-art equipment.

Glade is making waves with owner-occupiers, downsizers, and investors alike, Wainwright says, with the convenient location between the Parramatta and Sydney CBDs attracting buyers looking for lifestyle and connectivity.

A boutique opportunity

Each of the 70 residences boast open-plan living and floor-to-ceiling windows that drench the living areas in sunlight.

Wainwright says Sekisui House’s commitment to quality and community is on display throughout each dwelling, thanks to the creative and careful attention to detail.

“There’s a selection of luxury one, two and three bedroom designer apartments,” he says.

“Many of them enjoy oversized balconies, and outdoor areas, so people on the river can enjoy their outdoor space.

“The kitchens are oversized and premium in terms of design and appliances.”

Externally, the building has a creative edge with a striking curved facade.

To top it off, residents will have access to wellness features.

The building’s surroundings include plenty of greenery and a carefully crafted park. While onsite residents can access an ultramodern gym and a relaxing pool.

The properties are ideal for a lock-up-and-leave lifestyle on the water. There will not be another project like it in the area, Wainwright adds.

“It’s extremely rare because it is a low-rise building of only eight storeys — it’s very unique and there are only a finite number of apartments available.”

Construction is set to be completed in 2024.
