Delightful features await behind the door of 8 Soderlund Place, Somerville.

The owners of a Mornington Peninsula house with a rock-climbing wall leading to a secret loft, barn bar and homemade golf hole are hoping their home scores an ace sale.

The golfing theme at the Hamptons-style property continues in the barn where a mini putting green has been transformed into a light fitting and hung above the pool table.

The house at 6 Soderlund Place, Somerville also contains a theatre room with dry bar and blockout curtains, while the barn is home to another bar.

Ms Milne said the home’s many drawcards had attracted plenty of interest including from expats returning from Canada and the United States.

The feature has been popular with potential buyers of all ages.

“Even adults who want to climb up there,” Ms Milne said.

The vendors installed the golf hole and bunker after cutting down trees and flattening the divot-filled land.

“It helps the owners to get out there to hit some balls and relax, they love it,” Ms Milne said.

“It is great, there is so much to do, if you don’t feel like laying beside the pool, you can go and play golf.”

The owners were planning to leave their pool table in the barn when they moved, she said.

“Above it, the light feature is a little putt putt green, where the holes for the golf balls are features LED lights,” Ms Milne said.
