A new display village will open at Stockland North Shore on Saturday, giving buyers a new destination to research and plan their new home.
Visitors will be able to explore 10 new display homes from seven leading Australian and Queensland home builders.
Stockland North Shore senior development manager Rachel Dunstan said the display
village would be a new go-to destination for prospective homebuyers and property enthusiasts to experience a range of design options that showcased the latest housing innovations and trends.
“No matter the size of your block or your budget, or if you’re wanting a big backyard with a
swimming pool or stunning alfresco entertainment area, there’s something in the village for
everyone,” Ms Dunstan said.
To celebrate the opening of the display village, North Shore is hosting a series of free,
family-friendly community events over coming weeks including a block party, social competition and food truck
Here are the details!
Display Village Opening: Saturday June 11, 11am to 1pm –The launch will also include live music, free fairy floss and coffee, with visitors able to take part in activities including face painting, giant games, balloon twisting and a scavenger hunt.
Social Competition: Saturday 18 July – Sunday 26 July: Townsville locals are invited to attend North Shore’s display village and post and tag images of their favourite design features. Two lucky posters will win online vouchers for Temple & Webster to furnish their home with their desired dream look.
Food Truck Rumble: Saturday 9 July, 11am – 1pm – Enjoy North Shore’s community atmosphere and taste some delicious treats from various food trucks and enjoy some live music.
The village opening comes as new data from Stockland’s ‘Dreamcatcher’ tool – an online design trends platform – revealed Queensland’s favourite home design and style trend for 2022 as Coastal Hues.
With its bright, open spaces and layers of organic linen, Coastal Hues took out the top spot among nearly 20,000 Queenslanders and was followed closely by Hamptons Retreat
and Scandi Refined.
“We know Queenslanders continue to love the Coastal and Hamptons style build, so we’re
pleased North Shore can offer them a new hub to see these trends come to life,” Ms Dunstan
North Shore is located just 13 kilometres from Townsville’s CBD at 5 Rockingham Drive, Burdell.
